It was a sunny winter day afternoon at hogwarts,
As Harry, Hermione and Ron's third period had almost started, they ran up to Hagrid's hut, already hearing Hagrid's low voice, where they would be having another lesson, and today with the Slytherins.
'T'day we're going to take a little walk in the snowy forest', Hagrid told the class.
As the three of them arrived, Harry and Ron still very exhausted, Hermione said 'but Hagrid, you know we can't go into the forbidden area'.
'Don't worry Hermione, everyone you will be pared in two, and you will stay on the edge', Hagrid assured them.
'In pairs', suddenly shot to Harry's mind.
He did not want to be put in pairs with a Slytherin, he was also very well known as a disliked person in the Slytherin house.
Though Harry noticed it didn't go as he had hoped it would, as Hagrid was naming the pairs.. 'Lavender with flora', 'Neville with April', 'Marcus with Ron', Hermione with pansy'..
Hermione and Ron turned their faces sideways and let Harry see a very pessimistic look.
Harry was waiting for his name to come up, though he had not heard it yet when Hagrid said 'well I believe that was all'
'Professor, you forgot me', Harry heard a very familiar voice say.
'Oh, guess I forgot ye Malfoy. Anyone else who I didn't name yet?', While Hagrid asked this, and Harry knew he was the only other person left who had not been paired up he wanted to sink through the ground. It was bad enough that he had to be in a class with the Slytherins. He didn't think anything could make this class worse than being pared up with Draco.
Harry noticed other people staring at him and just decided to forget about it and not ruin the lesson. 'Me, I haven't been paired up either', he said.
'Oi, sorry Harry. You two will have to be paired up then', Hagrid said.
'All pairs will get a list of ingredients that you will have to find in the forest, as I've told you don't go hang around further than the edge, and come back to the hut when you hear a whistle. Good luck every body', Hagrid said as he handed everyone a piece of paper.
