We arrived at the same house as last night, which dressed in daytime looked thinner, even more mundane. An ominous fear of claustrophobia hit me but then reason arose when I reminded myself that the Slytherin Common Room was located in the dungeons and below the waters of the Black Lake.

"Are you sure, though?" I asked, tapping my fingers on my pants nervously as we walked closer.

"Of course. Now, remember that my father takes time to open up to strangers but once he does he says the cringiest dad jokes in the universe. This will be a trap in which you will have to fall. Laugh." That was an order and I quietly nodded, making mental notes. "Also, let us skip the bloodism and politics for the day, shall we?"

"Got it."

"Now Mum is the easy one but she has the long list. When she offers to make you a hot beverage, you do not have a choice. Do not even think about pulling your wizard anti-Christmas shit on her. She hates capitalism but Christmas is the one thing she budges on. Make sure you comment on the décor. It's all her; you'll see. When she asks what's your zodiac sign, don't answer or she'll say 'you should have let me guess'." Ophelia's tongue ran faster than air.

"I don't even know what my zodiac sign is," I shrugged.

"It's Gemini sun, Scorpio rising, Aquarius moon. Where the heck was your mind during Divination back in third year? You should know how to calculate these fairly easily."

She airily stopped in front of her door, walked up the first few steps towards it and looked in her bag for her keys but my exasperated voice stopped the search.

"Wha – how!" I mumbled with the most dumbstruck face. "Is this why you asked me exactly what time I was born back in October?"

"What'd you expect?"

"More of you?"

"Excuse me?" she asked swiftly lowering her chin and voice alike.

"That is so girly of you. Aren't you supposed to be the one who is reading philosophy instead of romance novels?"

"You literally have only one thing that sets me apart from other girls," she said and raised a finger. "Now is there anything else that can turn against me and a bunch of other young witches?"

When she rose to defend herself, when she attacked, when she objected, my Ophelia became the most beautiful woman on the planet.

I shut the hell up, listened to her and watched her smile in her triumph.

She climbed another step. She looked taller than me now, a rare incidence. Last time I was looking at her from this angle, she was naked and I was lowering down.

"I'm sorry," I said in a raspy voice. "So what did you learn from my chart?"

"That you're an asshole."

"You already knew that. Get to the good part. Are we compatible?"

"Nope. We are all over the place. We fight all the time." She took her keys out and selected one, the long one. "But at least the sex is great."

"I bet it has to do with our Venus and Mars and Neptune and shit," I rolled my eyes in a vain attempt to draw the attention away from my smirk.

"No, I speak from experience."
