Prologue

The gods had died without warning,
The changes had started that next morning,
As if the fabric of reality was becoming undone,
Yes, the gods were dead. All but one.

First the Earth began to shake,
Poseidon's final wail,
The thunder from clouds and their quakes,
Zeus realising he had failed.

The dead clamoured to be free,
from their murky depths,
Hades fighting to keep them underneath,
The cold, sweet touch of death.

They're surrounded now by Asgard's forces,
Who're holding swords and shields and torches,
The child of the prophecy defending his family,
The Asgardian Prince killing them ruthlessly.

For the gods were dead; gone; dust,
All except for Perseus.

i had an idea in class so wrote this poem about it and now imma make it a fanfiction because i'm so nice

it's gonna be a slow-burn Percy(PJO) X Loki(MCU) and very, very gay. along with this, the timeline is a bit confusing so i'll attempt to explain as best i can:

-Heroes of Olympus happened in 1960 rather than 2010, this is just to make Percy seem older and more mature when the MCU timeline gets thrown into the mix.

-The gods, if you couldn't figure out from the poem, have died in a war against Asgard- that includes thor. Percy is the only Greek entity left. The demigods, monsters, creatures and gods themselves are gone and now he's being taken to Asgard to be sentenced as he is 'the Last Olympian' (yes, i know hestia is the last olympian technically, but in this fanfiction that will be what percy is addressed as quite a lot!)

if you have any questions let me know :)
