I Was Never The One (a dramione finale)

Chapter One

Harry's POV

"What do you want Lucius?! Say something or I'll hex you right off the face of this planet! And how in the bloody hell did you get out of Azkaban!"

"It's about your dearest Hermione." He threw a file at me "And who she's pretending to be right now" I went to grab but he stopped me "I did you a favor so now you will owe me one" he was gone again

I took the file and took it to the desk in the corner, I summoned a cup of coffee and opened it. MY heart dropped with what I saw and I immediately changed my coffee to a firewhiskey

Hermione's POV

Me and Draco were in the library, again. We were spending all this time together that it felt like the old days. Sometimes it almost felt normal again

"Wait, so last year there was a war?!" He was whisper yelling and reminding me that this is the new normal

"Yeah, it was this huge battle, but finally good won and it became all better" I smiled at him

"Did...did I fight for good or evil?" He sounded so upset so I told him the truth

"You fought for good, just like the rest of us, it was because of you that we even won" I grabbed his hand. Okay so I didn't even tell him the truth, but I only told him a couple minor lies, like he was a Gryffindor, and that he was best friends with harry potter: the savior, and that his dark mark was from his being tortured. Okay I lied a lot, but he deserved a better life, didn't he?

"Thanks, Arty, I really appreciate you helping me get caught back up' He smiled at me. Okay so I was also still lying about who I was

"No problem, Dray." I smiled back at him

"Hey, so I was wondering if you...if you would like to go on a date..with..me, maybe?" He looked at me and he was so nervous

My heart sunk but I put on a huge smile anyway "Absolutely, Draco! Oh I'm so glad you asked!" I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly

"OH Merlin, I'm so glad you said yes, I was so nervous you were gonna say no!" He hugged me even tighter

~Couple Days Later~

Draco was waiting for me and I knew he was, but this had to be the night, I had to do it tonight. I sent Blaise ahead of me to do it. I knew it would hurt worse if someone else said it and I was no where to be found. It wouldn't just hurt him it would destroy him.

I got a hidden spot where I can see what happens but he couldn't see me. And I watched as Blaise broke Draco's heart, not knowing that mine broke with his.
