I've felt a gentle squeeze on my hand as I eyed at My Amma (Mom). She smiled at me, and said, this is my new home from now on. "Do you like it?", she asks, excited. I said, Yes, cheerily.

"Ok. Let's go inside, Aadriti.", I heed to My Accha (Dad). I frantically, nod.

They've both held my hand from either side and walked me inside. At the very moment, a harsh tone echoed. "Do not enter inside the home with her." As I saw a grandma glaring at me angrily.

I felt scared and hid behind My Amma. "Amma, please try to understand us? We-" Before Accha can talk further it got interrupted by an audible sound. I gasped aloud when a grandpa slaps his face. My eyes got teary witnessing.

"You going against, your Amma's word for this casteless one?", he let out in his rough booming voice, whilst, pointing out his finger toward me.

Casteless?!

Accha didn't speak anything further as his head leaned low. "Vallyetta, if you are that much yearning for a child, marry another girl. Because I can say, she is impotent.", I listened to a woman's voice and I instantly tilted my head up to see My Amma. She's crying.
[NOTE: Vallyetta - Elder Brother.]

"Amma.", I mumbled and I've held her hand from behind. I watch their verbal fights and the maximum of the words are pointed at me. They often called me Casteless. I wonder, what is it called?

"She is our daughter. Whether you all like it or not, she will be staying with us, from now on.", Accha told to everyone and he has grabbed my hand, walks me upstairs. Amma also follows us from behind with a delighted smile.
