Zeara, Alaric and Elena were walking through the cave tunnels that were just recently discovered yesterday.
It was they daytime but still all three had flashlights. They were walking until they heard something and halted all movement. Damon popped out to scare Elena and show them he couldn't get in
Alaric didn't want Elena to come because she didn't know anything about history and would get in the way by complaining and whining. But Zeara said yes so he lost that battle
When they finally got to the cave with the markings Damon explained that he couldn't enter but even didn't know why. Zeara did but Alaric gave a short and sweet answer
"Looks like even the ancient Lockwoods didn't like vampires." He really had no patience and wanted to this all figured and settled so he was all sarcasm
Zeara nudged him in the side with her elbow gesturing to be the adult and grow up. He did exactly that and started studying the markings with the teen

Alaric looked at Damon then Zeara while Zeara just stayed facing the cave wall and silently snicker
