You looked miserable.

Your cheeks were tear stained,

and you starry eyes glimmer with sadness.

What evilness in the world made an angel cry?

Just seeing you cry makes me sad too.

As soon as you saw me,

you were a crying mess.

So the least I could do is to invite you to my house and try to calm you down.

We were by the living room,

all silent, all tense.

And as you opened your mouth to speak,

your voice cracked and tears fell down again.

I should've known better than focusing on to stop people who are crying,

because it's useless.

As soon as you remembered the reason behind your tears,

there you go again,

sniffling and rubbing your red and swollen face.

I'll have to admit though, you still look as handsome as ever.

"Wonho left Monsta X." You cried.

Who's Monsta X?

Who's Wonho?

I have no idea.

but it seems like they're important to you.

"It's okay, I'm sure they will come back." I told,

even though I don't have a single clue of their identities.

What can I say? I was always lacking in the empathy field.

You continued to cry your eyes out.

For hours and hours,

and overtime,

you talked about how great of a person Wonho is,

and how Monsta X has saved you from your depressive days.

Later that day, I learned that Monsta X is actually a kpop boy group,

and Wonho is a wrongly accused member who left the group to save their reputation.

I didn't know you'd be invested into people's life so much to the point that you'd seem to know almost everything about them,

and that you would cry your eyes out for them.

Heeseung, they don't even know you.

The version of you that I was shown today said a lot about your personality.

And I could tell pretty much say that whoever that Wonho guy is to your life,

you don't care if he only thinks of you as a die-hard fan,

you cherish him and you're willing to shed tears for a person who doesn't care about you.

That's when I realised:

You're too precious for this cruel world, Lee Heeseung.
