intro

Hi everyone!

This is my first ever book and I hope it comes out good. I'm not the best writer, in fact, I'm pretty insecure about my writing that sometimes it takes me a while to write a chapter because I want it to be perfect.

This whole plot or idea seemed good inside my head so I hope it comes out just as good as I imagined it. If it's confusing or a mess, please forgive me. <3

As I'm writing this book, there are times where it's a little hard for me to remember or find information on what can work or exist in the wizarding world vs the muggle world so I try to go around it and find other ways to go about this, so again, please forgive me if I accidentally get something wrong or if it doesn't make sense. But then again, this is my book lol.

A lot of this book is inspired by the music I listen to, so much that I decided there will be a few songs that I'm going to include/write into the actual plot. That will be until the later chapters though. But I might recommend that you listen to a song in earlier or later chapters that are heavily influenced by a song just so it could set the vibe, or get you in your feelings ;) (they will not be a part of the actual plot though) but you don't have to.

*update 1/8/22: In my head, this plot makes sense and is something i've always wanted to try and write. I wanted to mix music with fanfiction to this is my attempt at it.

-The best way I would say to describe this book is 'interactive' or even 'hands on' but even then I say that very loosely. No, this will not be a musical, but songs are 'written' into the plot and you'll have to listen to them so the story can make sense when the time comes.

-I'm trying/will be trying my best to write in a way where it doesn't seem so headass or cringe, because in my head it sounds amazing/realistic, but when I write with a poor choice of words or descriptions, it can come off as cringe. I've realized that imagining/experiencing things vs reading it in words is very different. Reading the words can come off as awkward and cringe, so I'm trying to write to avoid it as much as that as possible.

-Then again, I'm a sucker for drama/headassery sometimes lmao

-I will be making a spotify playlist when the time comes where songs are in the plot and i'll add them as the story goes on. I'll post the link on my announcements along with the chapter that includes the song.

Some things you should know that before you read:
(some are minor and maybe not a big deal)

-This story takes place in The Half Blood Prince, so she's in her 6th year (along with Harry, Ron, Hermione, etc)

-This WILL have SMUT later on, so don't read if you're uncomfortable. I'm sure we all know this is student x professor so read at your own risk :)

-Kind of a slow burn story

-She's 16, about to turn 17 very soon. (so, just to make it clear she will be 17 before any smut happens, so she will be of age in the wizarding world and the age of consent wattpad requires)

-There will be a couple of things that will be different from the movie just because. For example, Snape and Slughorns positions will be reversed, therefore any potions class scenes will differ a bit from the movie or I might add my own.

-The book will be written in English (apart from some journal entries, songs and other things that I will translate), but the chapter names will be a mix of Spanish and Catalan numbers/words bc why not? ;)

If there's anything else I need to add or clarify for you guys later on I will.

I hope I can lift people's moods or brighten your day even just a little with this book, just as all the amazing writers and books on this platform have done to me during hard times and the days where I'm struggling to keep myself together.
