I'm princess Janette, the second princess of this kingdom.

This story is about me, the second princess Janette of the rewell kingdom, and the first prince rayland of the kingdom of epart. A story of our love story where he promised to marry me, a promise that lend to our unfortunate goodbye.

"Rayland!" I called out his name as I ran up to him.

"Princess don't run please!" The maids from behind me yelled.

I ran to the first prince of epart, once I reached him I hug him which he returned.

"Welcome!" I said with a big smile on my face.

"Don't run next time you'll get hurt" he said as he giggled.

"For you, I would run in heels through the slippery floor," I said giggling.

I let go of the hug, I see him smiling.

"So shall we do our normal routine in the garden?" He asked in a soft voice.

"Yes, we shall my prince" I replied with a smile as I linked my arms with him.

"Don't follow us this time, and thank you for setting up the garden" I said looking back at the maids.

"It's our honor, your highness," they said bowing.

"Shall we go?" Rayland asked with a smile.

"We shall," I said smiling as we started walking.

We walked through the long hallway of the castle as we laughed and talk on our way to the garden.

After we sat he started pouring our tea.

"The weather's pretty today, don't you agree my prince?" I asked as I looked at the clear blue sky.

I heard him put the teapot down, suddenly his right hand was on my cheeks that made me look at him.

"You're prettier, my Janette," he spoke in a soft tone while smiling, I couldn't help but giggle.

"Thank you, my rayland," I said, he then removed his hand.

"I can't believe I was arranged with someone like you, how lucky of me," I said as I grip my teacup gently.

"No, I'm the lucky one, I should actually thank our parents for arranging us," he said smiling looking at me.

"Once I'm the king of my kingdom I'll marry you and make you my queen, and I promise you that," he said smiling at me proudly.

"Do you really promise?" I asked, he then gently put his hands on mine, as he opened his mouth.

"I promise," he said smiling, I couldn't help but smile, every girl would be so happy in this situation and it was the same for me. Who wouldn't want a man of their dreams promising on marrying you?

But...happy ever after was so far for me, after he went to a party he started showing up late to our meetings and his attitude started changing.

"Oh my...the first prince is late again? The princess has been waiting under the hot sun for almost 2 hours now!"

"I know right? He never makes the princess wait, what's up with him these days?"

"Our poor princess..."

I was here sitting waiting for him, it was hot but I choose to wait for him here. The tea already went cold.

"Princess...shouldn't you wait inside?" One of the maids asked.
