Reyna Sommers was aware of the supernatural lurking amongst them since she was five and one being herself, along with her twin brother Theo and her father Jack.
So when the Salvatore brothers revealed themselves as vampires who might I add were more than a hundred years she wasn't surprised however still maintained her distance, but after they confirmed themselves that they mean no harm they become quick friends and helped each other when one needed.
This is why she is standing right now in the living room of the Salvatore Boarding House along with her friends and brothers to kill their newfound enemy Katherine Pierce
She has not only murdered her best friend and turned her into a vampire unwillingly, but she also made her mother stab herself to get back at the Salvatore Brothers.
"Are you sure you guys don't want me tonight?" Alaric asks as he was told to stay with Elena and Jenna
"No, I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this." Stefan says to Ric
"And don't worry, you won't be alone, I'll stay with you. I'm not leaving mom's side until that bitch is dead." Reyna says to Ric and everyone in the room can tell that she was furious
"Alright, if anybody wants to back out, I'll understand," Stefan speaks up to everyone
"Yeah, Cold feet speak now. I don't want this going wrong if someone chicken's out." Damon says and turns to Caroline. "Caroline....?" He asks
"I won't." She says confidently, but Damon looks at her questionably, so she continues to speak.
"Look, she killed me. Fair's fair. As long as there's no werewolf running around, except for Reyna and Theo." She tells them and look at the twins and smile at them which they kindly return the gesture
