We were both laying down in my bed, with my head on your chest, and your arms wrapped around my waist.

We snuggled to each other, and fit like a puzzle piece meant to be beside one another.

My lips puckered as I looked up to you,

your eyes were already closed, though I know you were far from being asleep.

And you must've sensed the begging stare I gave you, because as you opened your eyes, it looked directly at me.

"No. We're fixing your sleeping schedule now, Mirae, pouts won't work on me."

Your statement made my lips protrude even more.

How dare you resist my pout? It always worked on you!

"I wanna pee."

"You just went to the bathroom."

"I wanna drink water."

"There's a glass of water on your bedside table."

"I wanna eat."

"We just ate."

I sighed in defeat, and harshly snuggled my face closer to your chest, annoyed that you won't let me go.

A chuckle escaped your lips, and you probably think that the fact that I'm sulking is funny,

it's not, lee heeseung :(

I continued to bury my face on the thin layer of cloth separating me from your bulky chest, and naturally, my nose rubbed on it.

Your scent calmed me, but the fact that it did— annoyed me even more.

"I hate you."

You giggled.

"I love you too."

You said, and it's definitely my last straw,

before melting into your arms.

I looked up and this time, my pout wasn't to persuade you on letting me stay awake for the midnight,

"I don't think I can sleep." I said, and you nodded in understanding.

"Then I'll sing you to sleep, how about that?"

My frown slowly turned into a smile

"I guess... we could try."

Accidentally, you've always seen my vulnerable side,

and I should resent you for it.

But somehow, I feel... okay when it comes to you.

I feel better when I show you the real me, I feel fine whenever you see through my vulnerability.

Who could say that a handsome, kind, and enigmatic guy would come my way?

No one could.
