Chapter seven

third pov

tobirama stood next to midnight and not paying attention but still aware of his surroundings, watching a bunch of kids play games and not having to kill one of each child was boring, he isn't saying he would rather watch kids die

but it makes him wonder what these people did to have this much peace, it was far more peaceful back in his world where you fight to survive, either you fight for your life or die 

tobirama watched his elder brother cry over their brother's death, he couldn't bring himself to hold in his tears as a single tear went down his face, tobirama quickly wiped it and placed his hand on hashirama's shoulder

all he could do is support his brother and hope things will get better and soon they will have peace, but he knows it's a fool's dream.

"the obstacle race's winner is izuku midoriya!" present mic's voice snapped him back to reality and turns his head where he could feel midoriya's chakra 'hm, seems the boy placed first this round'

midnight nudged him to signify that he will be the one talking "forty-two of you qualify to move onto the next round, our next game is a cavalry battle" he paused for a moment before speaking again 

"those of you at the top will suffer the most, that is what you'll hear a lot, and izuku Midoriya placed first and will be 10 million points" tobirama stared down at midoriya, he didn't want to explain the whole thing but he had no choice 

"students, these are the rule you will follow. listen closely because I will not repeat it again" he glared at the first years "the game itself will last 15 minutes and each player will have an individual point value and will be added together, therefore everyone will know how much you're worth by your headband"

tobirama was so done by this point "you will steal others headbands to raise your team's scores, you are only allowed to wear your headbands from your neck up, even if your headbands get stolen you are still in the game"

"you are able to use your quirks as much as you'd like but you can not trip other teams on purpose and if you do. I will deal with you myself" he gave a glare to the students and they shivered and looked the other way 

"you have fifteen minutes to make up your teams that can have up to four people and that's it." he sighed and watched the students team up and grabbed some water from the side of the stage 

after 15 minutes tobirama spoke "your fifteen minutes are up" and left it to present mic to count down and speak along with midnight

tobirama did not pay attention to anything that went on, and it was already the semi-finals and was told to watch the matches closely with the cement head or whatever his name was, his looks were quite different than what he is used to but he'll adjust

so far tobirama saw Denki, momo, sero, Aoyama and uraraka lose to their opponents, uraraka impressed him the most as she put up a great fight and didn't give up till the end, bakugou got some of his respect as he treated her like any other person he would face off against

it was annoying when the crowd booed at bakugou for going hard on a girl, they will fail in their career as pro heroes with that mindset, in his mind it is as if not wanting to kill a woman for her gender

it will get you killed one day and they should know that

and as of now, he watched midoriya and todoroki's fight, it was getting  more intense as it went on and midoriya broke most of his fingers, "it's your power!" midoriya yelled and tobirama sighed

he watched as things progressed, that was until a large amount of fire came off of todoroki and midoriya got ready for an attack, "shit" tobirama muttered at the two students attacking each other

"you block midoriya's attack as much as you can and ill stop todoroki's!" tobirama yelled at centamose and made some hand signs and took a deep breath in and spits out a stream of water and made a water barrier around todoroki's fire

todoroki was surprised when he saw water surround his fire and put it out easily, concrete flew everywhere from midoriya's impact and steam blocked everyone's vision of what is going on and when it cleared up they saw midoriya out of bounds

"wh-what just happened!? and where did that steam come from?!" present mic said "izuku midoriya is out of bounds! todoroki shoto moves to the finals" tobirama yells ad he points to todoroki who had half of his clothes burnt off

they took midoriya to recovery girl and todoroki walked off and tobirama followed him, when he  caught up to him he saw the boy talking to a man who tobirama recognized as endeavour, the number two hero

tobirama's gaze narrowed, he did not like the man as he felt as if the man was not a good guy and to know he is todoroki's father is quite excruciating 

tobirama silently walked up behind todoroki which made endeavour set his gaze on the male, enji glared at tobirama and he did the same back to him,todoroki turned around confused at what his father was glaring at and saw tobirama

"Hmph, you're that new hero, huh,  you don't look much to me" enji scoffed at the former Hokage "I could say the same" tobirama shot back "now shoot and I must leave" tobirama grabbed todoroki's shoulder and started to walk away

tobirama felt endeavour reach for his shoulder but he grabbed the large man's wrist "I am not done talking to my son" todoroki turned to glare at his so-called father "he doesn't seem to think of you like one, by the way he treats you, I may as well be his father"

tobirama glared one last time before walking away, todoroki glanced at tobirama's calm and cold face and looked away, his heart skipped a beat, it was nice to know someone other than him dislikes his father

the walk to where ever they were going was silent, almost unbearably so but tobirama was fine with the silence but todoroki felt a bit uncomfortable but he didn't mind, it was better than being with his father

tobirama stopped in his steps before turning around "I'm leaving" was all he said before leaving todoroki alone with his thoughts 'huh?' the boy thought to himself
