After coming back-correction being dragged back to her hotel room by a very jealous looking Klaus,Rose sat infront of her laptop conversing with Mrs.Choi and a couple more important people about the yearly competition matter,Rose wanted to publish the winning Author's book separately because it was simply deserving more and the second best draft Mrs.Choi sent was absolutely perfect for the yearly publish,It was simple,sweet yet held strong emotions as the the protagonist went through development and finding herself.The meeting ended as Rose sighed and was about to get up when her phone rang,She picked it up and accepted the call with a huge smile on her lips,
"Hello,Lijah" Rose said smiling
"Hello to you too,Dear.How are you?"
"I am more than fine,Everything is just fine I suppose"
"You seem off,what is it?"
Rose sighed "Oh no it's really nothing,It's just working from distance is quite inconvenient"
"I can understand,How are you doing?Is my brother bothering you?" Elijah asked worriedly
"Not quite,We'll be back in a week's span"
"I hope you survive his presence that long" Elijah teased as Rose let out a chuckle
"Oh it will be the other way around,Lijah."
"Expected"
"Did you check up on Stiles and Mathew?"
"Yes,You need not to worry about them,They are doing well.Mathew and the teens really get along,All three of them mainly take care of him when I visit,You raised them well" Elijah praised making Rose smile in satisfaction,
They talked for the next hour about random stuff when a beeping sound was heard from Roselyn's phone indicating it's low battery,She said goodbye and after putting her phone to charge,She decided to sleep and clear her head from this reality for a bit.
The Next Day
Rose woke up by the sound of Niklaus shouting and arguing with someone on the phone "What a great start of the day" she said sarcastically before making her way towards the bathroom and washing up,

Rose brushed her wavy short hair before checking herself one last time,She smiled to herself and walked out of the room and into the living room where Niklaus sat on the couch looking more annoyed than ever,Rose wanted to ask why he was annoyed but before she could do that Niklaus shot his head in her direction as a small smile crept his lips,It shouldn't be surprising how still only her mere presence could relax him and make him forget all his worries in an instant.
"May I ask what the matter is?" Rose asked taking a seat across from him as he shook his head "Nothing serious or worthy of worrying you" he answered and called Stefan as he got up and faced Rose "We'll be out for a couple of hours,You can explore the town or spend the time however you please,Love" he said in a soft voice as Rose nodded in response and watched them leave the apartment,
