Dear Reader, (this has nothing to do with what the book will be about)

There's a reason we feel lonely even though we're not alone; it's because loneliness is not about how many friends we have or how many people there are in the room with us.... it's a disconnection from other human beings.

being social doesn't cure loneliness, many people socialize when they don't really feel like it just to keep up appearances. we all have layers and we all pretend we're okay when we're not, but loneliness comes when there is not a single person close enough to see past those illusions to who we really are and what we're really feeling inside.

but i need u to do something. for me, my dear reader; breathe. ur going to be okay, breathe and remember that you've been in this place before. you've been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared and you've survived. breathe and know that u can survive this too. these feelings can't break u, they're painful and debilitating, but u can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. maybe not
immediately, but sometime soon, they are going to fade and when they do, you'll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted ur resilience. i know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again. this will pass. i promise it will pass.
