I've been best friends with the boys since we were children, we met in school and just seemed to click, I've never felt there was anything more than friendship with any of them, until that night...I slipped into my favourite black dress, I always wore this to parties because I felt it accentuated exactly what I needed it to, I put on more-than-my-usual amount of makeup and looked at myself in the mirror. It was times like these that I was really confident in myself, because damn did I look good. I looked towards my digital alarm clock on my desk, 7:20, Jimin should be here any minute so that we could walk together. Like clockwork, there was a knock on the front door.
I grabbed my heels from my cupboard and ran down the stairs, seeing my mum greet Jimin with a hug, he's always been her favourite. "Hey Chim" I smiled as I strapped up my heel with one hand, using the other one to hold me up on the stair bannister. "Hey Y/N, looking good, as usual" He smirked as he looked me up and down, "not looking too bad yourself" I responded.
"Just give me a text if you want picking up okay? And please be home before two o'clock this time, last time you almost woke your father and you know he needs his sleep." My mum gave me a look, my father was a pilot so a lot of the time he was jet-lagged, it also meant he went away quite a bit, but that just means I can have the house to myself more often.
We began the short walk to Suga's house, the rough pavement proving difficult with my small heels. "Didn't I tell you last time to change into those when we got there?" Jimin scolded me as I gripped his arm tightly, "But they're so cute" I pouted and looked down at them, seeing them shine in the streetlights. "Plus we are so close that there'd be no point, maybe next time we go to Jin's place though, that was so painful." We practically take it in turns to host a party almost every week for our classmates, it's that or we all get together as a group, either way we always hang out away from school.
There was no need to knock on the door seeing as it was wide open, I did close it behind myself however. "Hey guys!" V spoke with a slur and I could tell he was already drunk, he gave me a big hug that went on for way too long and then did the same to Jimin.
"Lets go get something to drink, can't have V out-drinking us, again!" I grabbed Jimin's hand and pulled him over to the drinks table, picking up a shot for each of us. "Three, two, one, DRINK" I tipped the cup into my mouth and was met by a sour taste that travelled down my throat, I grabbed another shot and drank again.
"I'm going to find some more of our friends" I shouted to Jimin over the loud music, I could already see Jin, his height made him spottable above the crowd of dancing people.
"Hey Jin!" I practically screamed into his ear, "Y/N!" He laughed and hugged me, "You got to try some of this stuff-" he passed me a plastic cup, "It's so good!" I didn't even look into the cup, instead I chugged the liquid, a warm sensation filling my chest, I felt the urge to laugh, by the looks of the already-hysterically-laughing Jin, so did he.
