"Tommy?"

"..Wake up."

Tommy gasped for air, eyes widening as he returned from a pitch black void.

His vision was cluttered with black and blood, and it was extremely blurry.

He could hear cackling in the distance.

No.

It was close by.

"How was Limbo, Tommy?" A familiar voice rang through his head.

Dream.

Tommy was still panting, his lungs greedily grasping for air.

"Hello?" Dream beckoned.

"Are you ok?"

No.

Dream wouldn't care.

Why would he care now?

He fucking killed him.

"Hello?" Tommy whispered, once he finally regained his breath.

A smile cracked into Dream's lips.

"You're awake now." He grinned.

Tommy looked around, scanning the area only to look back at Dream.

"How was Limbo?" Dream repeated.

Tommy paused for a minute.

"It was dark." He began.

"It was a void - nothing around me. I couldn't see shit."

Dream hummed, opening a chest only to grab a book then writing something down.

"I could hear Wilbur and Schlatt. I could hear them. I could fucking hear them." Tommy muttered.

Dream's head perked up from the book.

"What did you say?" He tilted his head.

Tommy froze, looking into Dream's eyes.

He didn't answer.

"I said, what did you say, Tommy." He snarled.

Tommy stammered.

"What did you hear, Tommy?" Dream's voice demanded.

"I- I heard- no, why do you want to know?"

Dream blinked slowly, his eyes narrow.

"Repeat what you said, Tommy. I couldn't hear clearly."

Tommy gritted his teeth.

"I'm not telling you."

Dream hummed, placing his quill in the book, only to close it shut and place it atop the chest.
