hello and happy new year! welcome to my first enha fic ig ? anws there are a few things i'd like to point out:

1. torotot or a festive horn as i like to call it will be mentioned throughout the fic. it's like a horn or smth pretty much similar to a trumpet used during new year while there are fireworks.

2. tita and tito means auntie/aunt and uncle. i originally wrote this in filipino however, upon seeing the amount of profanities i've written there, i just decided to translate it in english in hopes to tone it down.

"Aggressive, aren't we?" Jay lets out a maniacal laugh upon receiving such a reaction from Jaeyun. And Jaeyun just sighed.

Just another New Year's Eve with the obnoxiously loud son of his treasured aunt and uncle— Park Jongseong.

It's been a tradition between both families of Sim and Park to spend New Year's Eve and even New Year together.

And every single fucking year, Jongseong manages to get into Jaeyun's every single nerve that Jaeyun thinks he's mastered how to trigger him.

That's why Jaeyun grew up having this annoyance towards the elder. But he can't really hold a grudge against him. He'd admit that Jay's been helpful to him at some point.

"Just shut up, alright? Get that torotot away from me if you don’t want me to turn you into a torotot.." He retorts back to the latter who's still holding the sparkling horn.

Jay once again just laughed at Jake's face that successfully made his eyebrows furrow.

If annoying the fuck out of Sim Jaeyun's a subject in their school, Jongseong would've aced it without even trying.

But why does he even annoy the latter? He knows that it'll end up with another session of ten minute long bickering with Jake, but why?

It'd be pretty obvious, attention.

Park Jongseong, 19; wealthy, healthy, an absolute eye candy but when it comes to Sim Jaeyun, he magically turns into a puppy. Chasing him around just for him to finally notice and see through things.

Park Jongseong is annoying the shit out of Sim Jaeyun so he has a reason to talk to him— that Jay likes and not hates him.

And it is indeed dumb but what can Jay do?

They've already started on the wrong path with Jay purposely taking Jake's pencil case as a joke back in second grade which led to Jake not completing his assignment, what do they do now?

Yeah, Jay's apologized a lot of times but it seems like Jake's engraved all of the annoying shit he's done.

"Can you stop staring at me? It's weird, Jongseong." Jake saying Jay's name was laced with bitterness but it seems sweet for Jay.

He likes it when Jake calls him by his name. And he thinks it's pathetic because while Jake's only saying his name out of spite, he's giggling and experiencing butterflies inside.

"Why wouldn't I stare at a work of art?"

"What?" Jake paused, the horn that's been the sole reason as to why he's even talking to Jay was gone. The sudden compliment caught him off guard— his heart was leaping.
