# 1 - 𝐈 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐘

there you were, desperate to gain money. still 3 more minutes to arrive to your new job.

you got off the bus and began walking

"please proceed forward" the robotic voice coming from my phone said

i turned off my phone as soon as i saw the building

'damn this thing is huge' it is.

i choosed the night shift as i don't want to be bothered with children running around and making me trip ans embarrass myself, god I'm feeling the second hand embarrassment from here.

I crossed the road and made my way to the entrance, part of myself regretting to decide to come here and work as a night guard, this place is huge! how would I fucking do my work?? I would get distracted by anything, literally.

I headed towards a desk, I didn't know where else to go after all.

"hello! how may I help you?" a sweet lady spoke

"oh hi, uh I applied for the.. uh.. night guard job.. I was wondering where do I go?" I sounded  stupidly confused

"oh yeah, Vanessa told me, just go through that door that says staff only, love" she smiled as she passed me a card

'oMg she's so-'

"thank you" i picked up the card and smiled back weakly and I searched for the door she mentioned.

'S.T.A.F.F ONLY' was on a brilliant red sign, placed on the door. Next to it was a card reader.

I placed my card on the reader and went in as it opened

"what the fuck.." I said quietly

"oh hello! you must be the new night guard, am i right?" I heard behind me, making me slightly flinch, I thought i was alone..

"oh, yes, I am.." why did i say that?? I literally sound so stupid

"follow me please" they smiled brightly

I did as they said and they guided me to a changing room, I assumed.

"go try this uniform on, if it doesn't fit just tell me. you can call me tom" he threw a plastic bag with the uniform inside, it fell and ended up on the ground as I didn't react in time

"I'm sorry, its a habit" they apologised

"no don't worry" I quickly answered picking up the plastic bag and I made my way to try my new uniform on

...

"does it fit on you? is it comfortable? " Tom yelled from outside

"yep! just the shirt is a bit tight but it's alright"

"if you want a baggy shirt you can have it!" he yelled once again

"sure!"

he threw the shirt at the gap located on the top and I yelled him a 'thank you' as i catched it successfully

to be honest, the uniform was hella good, in your opinion

you went outside and Tom was there

"you look great!" he placed a cap on your head and you chuckled while adjusting it

"so I will give you a small tour on the places you will be guarding  every night of your life" he laughed at his own joke

we went outside and he took me to some big wood doors

"this is where all the children play, draw or whatever" he spoke and I simple nodded my head without paying attention

he turned around to face me "so you'll need to che- huh?" I was gone

"newbie?"

"-re we having a slumber party? where are all of your friends?" tom heard sundrop

I opened my mouth to say something but closed it again right away

"we can finger paint, tell stories, drink fizzy faz till our heads ex-PLODE and stay up all night!!" he smiled and moved side to side as I awkwardly sat there waiting for my fate to arrive

"sundrop! what are you doing with the newbie?" Tom finally arrived

"were having a slumber party! right new friend?" the animatronic looked at me. i looked at tom awkwardly, waiting for something to happen

"actually, sundrop, I was giving them a nice little tour, so if you'll excuse us.." tom grabbed my wrist gently

"come back new friend!" sundrop waved at me

"who the hell is that?" I whispered to tom as he dragged me outside of daycare

"I was about to say you'll need to check on him and moondrop every shift but then he got you" he looked at you and stopped walking

"whos- nevermind"

"let's just keep doing the tour" he let me go and started walking as I followed him

...

"so this is parts and service, there's a lot of.. uh.. yeah.." he said as I saw the skeleton of an animatronic, assuming it was freddys.

"some of them are very defective so if their eyes are red and they move everytime you turn around, don't worry its part of the job" we made our way outside as i was genuinely scared about my life

"so yeah this is the stage and there's the lift.. then up there is the DJ booth but you don't need to do much here" they pointed at something I couldn't see from far

we went upstairs and I was not paying attention to anything tom said

i felt a tight grip on my shoulders

"WHAT THE F-" I jumped

"Hi, please take this map" a robotic voice spoke

i looked at the robot in shock as I breathed heavily and Tom was just laughing his ass off

"take a map" they spoke again

"the fuck" I turned around to face tom but the map bot turned around with me

"please take a map" I looked at the map in their hands

"what do I do?!" I mouthed to tom

"take the map for fucks sake itll be faster" he continued laughing

"uh-" I looked at the bot as they tilted their head while leaning closer, looking at me

"take a map"

I took the map from their hands and the bot went back to his original position

"thanks-" "thank you" we spoke at the same time

we went in the elevator and tom broke into laughter

"what's so funny?" I said, embarrassed

"you jumped like, double your height please it was so funny" he was about to cry

"what the fuck tom my heart almost jumped out of my chest and my soul completely left my body?" I put my hands on my chest

"still" he was red from laughing

"fuck you" the elevator doors opened and I left as my first shift as a night guard was over
