My name is Daliora Frince, and I was adopted by a wonderful couple who raised me as their own, for which I am immensely grateful. Growing up, my parents shared numerous stories with me, from their youth, to the moment they met, and tales of their first home together following their wedding and honeymoon. They recounted these memories with love, fondness, and a touch of heartbreak.
They have always been, and continue to be, very much in love. They cherished their old home deeply, yet it was difficult for them to leave due to several reasons. As they left behind all the cherished memories, I wanted to give back to the two who raised me and had a surprise planned for them. Now in retirement, they were searching for a new permanent home, just as I was also looking for a new place to live.
I had suggested that we, along with our family pet Pave, consider moving to a different state. After some thought, they agreed, and my mother inquired, "Which state?" I playfully responded, "You'll figure it out!" leaving my parents looking puzzled.
