My texts remained unseen for days,
My calls unanswered,
" The number you have dialling is currently busy" was the only thing I heard instead of her cheerful voice,
How could I even sadden her by sharing my problems?
Now she is happy with someone else!
But, even today her smiling face makes my day,
I started keeping my baseless talks to myself,
She wasn't there to listen to me anymore,
I started keeping my problems to myself,
She wasn't there to solve it for me anymore,
I started replying back others the way I wanted,
She wasn't there to give me her insane replies anymore,
I had my food all alone,
In the break,
She wasn't there to snatch it anymore,
She dislikes monsoon now,
My paper boats,
Where we imagined ourselves to be Jack and Rose,
Didn't make her smile anymore,
Because, now the February roses are more precious to her!
And slowly we lost each other...
Among the roses and paper boats...
Even today, " The number you have dialled is busy"
Continues even if I want to hear her voice,
We lost each other,
Breaking our own promises,
Sigh! My bestfriend fell in love...!!!
