I looked in the mirror and Narcissus stared back at me.

I look in a mirror and I see my self,

And you take a glance and see yours too.

but then you look at me through the glass,

and so I shift my eyes to find you,

our eyes should lock, but they're the windows to our souls, and where is yours?

For I gaze right through.

I just assumed that you were heartless,

And I believed it was time to let you go.

but a few years later I found myself,

living in a state of woe,

losing friend after friend, seeing each one in the mirror, and asking "am I at fault"?

For I'm the only recurring character in this show.

But in time, I found the truth,

And realized we can't turn against a single name.

because I've discovered, after much thought,

that the original sin is to blame,

As we can't fight nature, we only know ourselves,

and yet expect others to understand our brains?

As we're only in love with our reflections, and hate others for not being our clones,

yet still exploit them for our own gains?

For now I know the answer, which I will proudly proclaim – we live in a sick and twisted game.
