Pepa Madrigal was tucking her son Leon into bed in the nursery. "Mami can you tell me a story?" Leon asked. "Okay Mi Vida," Pepa said "But what story to tell,". Pepa thought and remembered a story known throughout the Encanto. "How about this. Once upon a time before the Encanto. Before our family's magic. There was a lonely traveler passing through this land. He walked along a set path and heard a magical voice calling to him. The traveler followed the voice across this land to find a glowing golden door. He went into the door and vanished. No one has seen him since. Some say he was transported to where the voice came from. Others say the door led him to the afterlife. Alas no one knows," Pepa said. Leon was in awe. "Are satisfied Mi Vida?" Pepa asked. "That story was epic. One day when i'm older i'll find that lost traveler," Leon said. Pepa chuckled and said " Alright Mi Vida. But growing boys need to sleep," Pepa said. "Okay mami. Goodnight," Leon said snuggling his pillow. "Goodnight Mi Vida," Pepa said. She kissed Leon's forehead and left the nursery. Leon fell asleep determined to find that lost traveler.
