     Kiyomi, who was back to known as Jessica, went downstairs and acted calm, despite coming back from the demon slayer world.

   "Sorry to make you wait, Umi. I.. um.. slept late last night...", Jessica lied.

  "It's alright. It's a good thing today is the weekend, or else you would have been scolded for being late for school.", Kazumi giggled. "Let's go!"

   "Um, where are we going again?", Jessica sweatdropped as she let Kazumi drag her.

   "Girl, you don't remember?? We're going to the cafe that had a collab with demon slayer!", Kazumi said, surprising Kiyomi.

   "What's wrong, Jess?", Kazumi looked at her frightened expression.

    "N-nothing.. I'm just excited! Let's go!!", Jessica changed her expression and pretended to be excited as they continued walking on the side road.

    'Was that all a dream..? That should have been... But..-' "Jess!", Jessica snapped out of her thoughts when she realized Kazumi was calling for her.

   "Huh? Yes?", Jessica replied.

   "I said that you were drinking your milk tea too fast, your head might hurt!", Kazumi said, but Jessica felt nothing despite drinking a very cold milk tea too fast.

   "Why do you keep spacing out? Is something bothering you? *gasp* Or someone?! Who is it?? I'll handle them for you!", Kazumi said while cracking her knuckles.

   Jessica giggled, "It's nothing, I was just thinking about stuff..", She said while mixing her milk tea with her straw.

   Kazumi decided not to ask what kind of stuff Jessica was thinking about and tried to think of another topic.

    Then, two cosplayers came into the cafe, amazing Kazumi.

   "Jess, look behind you! There are cosplayers, they seem to be cosplaying as Tanjiro and Nezuko! That's so cool!", Kazumi beamed. Jessica turned around and saw the two cosplayers. They really looked like Tanjiro and Nezuko.

   Jessica looked away from the cosplayers and pretended to be very amazed.

  "W-wow! They really nailed it off..!", Jessica stuttered as Kazumi nodded in agreement, not noticing that she just stuttered.

  'I wonder if they are okay...', Jessica thought as she continued to drink her milk tea.

   "Bye Jess! Today was a wonderful day! I'll miss you!!", Kazumi said, waving at Jessica who was confused.

   'What does she mean she'll miss me?', Jessica thought before shrugging and going in her home.

   "I'm home!", Jessica said.

   "Welcome back! I'm making some pancakes, wanna help??", Jessica heard her mother ask from the kitchen.

   "Sure! I have to change first!", She said before going upstairs to her room to change.

  After Jessica finished changing, she went to the kitchen and helped her mother make pancakes.

  Jessica put the batter in the mixer and accidentally turned it on to fast mode, which made the batter to splatter everywhere. Jessica hurriedly turned the mixer off and sheepishly smiled at her mother.

  Her mother just laughed and told her to be careful. Jessica smiled. It's been years since she saw her mother, and she missed her and her delicious food.

  "I'm home!", Jessica's father arrived.

  "Welcome back!", Jessica beamed before taking a bite from her pancakes.

  "Just in time! Come eat with us hon! We made pancakes!", Her mother said. Her father came to the kitchen and ate with them.

   "So, how was work, honey?", Jessica's mother named Emma asked.

   "As flat as a pancake.", Jessica choked on her food while laughing as Emma scoffed while smiling.

   "Ahem, excuse me.", Jessica calmed down, "Anyways, why did you have work when it's the weekend, dad?"

   "I don't know, my boss called me and said it was urgent, so I had to go.", Her father named James shrugged as he took another bite of his pancake.

   As they continued talking, Jessica was feeling very happy since she could hang out with her family again.

   'I missed these kinds of moments', Jessica thought while smiling.

   "Jess?", Emma called.

   "Yes, mom?", Jessica replied.

   "When are you going to wake up?", She asked, confusing Jessica.

   "What are you talking about?", Jessica raised an eyebrow.

   "Sweetie, the truth is.. this is just a dream..", James looked at her with a sad expression, surprising Jessica.

   "What are you talking about, dad..?", Jessica began to get nervous.

   "You're now Takahashi Kiyomi, right?", Emma asked, making Jessica flinch.

   "H-how did you..?", "My sweet daughter... The truth is.. you.. died in this life...", Emma started to tear up as Jessica's eyes widened.

   "W-what..? B-but how?!", Jessica exclaimed.

   "You were actually.. hit by a car while you were going to school..", James said while comforting Emma.

   Jessica gasped before memories she forgot came back to her mind. She was running on her way to school and a car suddenly crashed into her.

   She started to cry as her parents hugged her.

    "You have new parents in your new life, so don't be sad, alright kiddo?", James smiled.

   "I-I'll miss you mom, dad..", Jessica cried.

   "We'll miss you too, sweetie..", Emma said before wiping Jessica's tears.

   Jessica's vision started to get dark before getting bright again.

   She opened her eyes and saw an unfamiliar room. She looked around and saw Winter beside the bed she seemed to be resting on.

   'I'm back.'

   By the way everyone, while I was reading my own fanfic (this one), I realized how cringe it was 😭
