Connect the dots?

It's not always an order nor a straight line...
Obstacles make you shift the path
There are hairpin bends,
narrow roads sometimes..
Some dots are close to you,
Some are far behind...
Few get faded away...few still shine. 
I think joining past dots would waste
Your precious time..
Rather keep drawing the road ahead
and enjoy a meandering line...
