៸៸ i do have a few requests to get to for George and I promise those will get done, but I'm just trying to take things slow and do things at my own pace.

also, what do you guys think george's merch should be? like how tae has his broaches and bag, jin's pyjamas etc, what should george have created? let me know because i am at a loss for ideas on what will fit his character.

"If I fart right now, I'm pretty sure it will freeze mid air."

The tips of George's fingers were red raw as he fixed the beanie that was on top of his head, though they weren't as red as his nose which made him look like he was cosplaying as Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.

His comment was rewarded with a slap to the stomach from his mother, whilst his father chuckled behind him.

"Let's try it. We'll leave it in the living room as an ice sculpture if it works!" David Lee then got into a crouching position and pretended to fart, only just as he made the sound with his mouth, an elderly couple passed.

He hadn't noticed them at first, until he turned to check for the 'fart sculpture', and came face to face with a distraught old woman, who had no embarrassment in holding her nose as she shuffled past him.

George was in silent hysterics, covering his mouth before politely bowing to the couple. Once they were gone, he fell to the ground and wheezed.

David stood there like a statue, a red tint to his cheeks with a sparkle of embarrassment in his eye. He looked at his wife, looking like a lost puppy making her coo and cup his cheeks.

"Oh, don't be embarrassed, My Love. You're getting older now, it's harder to keep those urges inside. I'm sure they understand," her tone was playful making David groan and push her away gently.

George wiped the tears from his eyes and stood up.

"Let's just get on with the hike before I accidentally throw myself off of this mountain trail."

The Lee couple had proposed a hike last week to George—well more like told him it was going to happen and he had no choice but to comply because even though he's now in his late twenties, they're still his parents.

The thing is, George hates hikes especially in the cold.

"Is there a reason why I had to be here for this?" George asked after a few moments of silent walking, hands tucked into the pockets of his expensive jacket that Jimin had gotten him for Christmas.

His parents shared a look, and his suspicions grew. So, he stopped walking and stared at them with narrowed eyes.

"So there is a reason? Oh my god, is one of you dying?" He covered his hand with his mouth. "Oh no, that's what it is. One of you is going to be dead soon and-"

"That is not what it is, why the hell would you assume that?" His dad quizzed, looking rather offended as he turned around.

George didn't reply.

"Okay, we have some news and we wanted to be in a remote area so you could potentially start screaming if you needed to," Dahae started, her voice gentle and eyes worried.

George stepped back, anxiety now trotting through his body on its way to fill his mind with dread and endless worries.

"I don't know how to say this but-"

"George, we have to move back to England."

And just like that, George's world crumbled before his eyes. What? They were just going to leave? Just like that? Dragged him here when he was just a boy, only to leave him stranded in his twenties.

"You can't do that! I won't survive!"

"George honey, you're in your late twenties and have traveled the world more times than we ever will. I think you're fine," Dahae chuckled, though there was a sense of nervousness to her laugh.

"Look kid, we don't want to but your granddad... he's not well and grandma can't take care of him all on her own now."

George's anger faded into dread. "What's wrong with him?"

David bit his lip and threw an arm around his eldest son. "His Alzheimer's are getting worse, and the doctors believe he might have cancer. They're running tests, and we need to be there for him. For your nan."

George sat down on the gravelled trail, face in his hands. His grandfather was a huge part of his life, just a couple months ago they were talking. He never would have guessed that his second father was struggling.

"Do you guys have a place to stay and everything?"

"Not yet, we're still looking."

"Let me help you, make sure you guys are living comfortably."

"George n-"

"Please."

The couple shared an uncertain glance.

"We'll think about it, but right now we just want to spend the day with you. I know this isn't easy for you to comprehend, how about we go home and watch some of your favourite movies as a family?"

George nodded, swallowing back the lump in his throat. "Sure."

His parents shared a look, they almost felt guilty because they knew he was struggling with the idea of not being in driving distance, but they knew he understood. He always understood.

But George had no idea how he was going to cope.
