Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

~My name is Ryley Heather Black~

*Riiiinnnnggggg*

I reach over the table beside my bed and turn the alarm off. As much as I like to stay in bed and continue my dreamless sleep, I cant. Because I have to go to school and besides its the last day of school.

So I rolled out of my bed then took a shower. I love to take cold showers especially if its really hot and that happens everyday because hey its summer and I live in the Philippines.

Even though its the last day of school I still have to wear my uniform. White long sleeves polo, black tie, black skirt, white knee sacks, and black dollshoes. Also I wear one of those big square nerdy glasses because I dont like eye contact lenses. Since I'm feeling lazy today I just let my long brown wavy hair down and I didnt bother putting on make-up I dont like them anyway it makes my face itchy. Also I like to be more natural. Just powder though.

My father was already in the kitchen drinking his coffee. So I grabbed some cereal and sit across from him.

"Good morning Ryley" My father greeted looking at me.

"Good morning Daddy" I said.

"Good morning Daddy, good morning Ry!" My sister, Arianna, yelled.

"Good morning sweetie" My father chuckled as my sister hug him then me. My sister is really clingy.

"Morning Ari" I said as I try to push her, really its getting hard to eat with her squeezing me.

"Ari, I love you but please let go of me!" I said finally being released from her deathly hug.

"Ooh I cant wait for school to be over!" Arianna exclaimed.

"Me too, I cant wait for summer!" I said.

"Also Before you exit will be performing here" she squealed.

I almost drop my spoon as she said that "Are you serious?!" I gasped " You better be serious"

"Oh I am very serious" she said "I just wish I can watch their show."

"I know." I said, we both sighed then look at our father with puppy eyes.

My father look at us then chuckled before shaking his head then drink his coffee.

"Oh come on daddy, please!" Me and Ari said in unison

"Fine, I'll see what I can do" my dad said.

"Yay!!!" we yelled

"But no promises" he said

"Thanks dad, you're the best!" Ari yelled

"Woah whats up with all the yelling" my brother, Heath, said.

"Ask your sisters" dad said.

Heath then looked at us while taking a sit beside me

"Before you exit is ha-" I tried to say but he cut me off

"Ah I know" he said holding up his hand

"You knew?" I look at him confused about how he knew "how?"

Heath look st Ari "Well Ari screamed last night so I rushed upstairs thinking something had happened a-"

"And something did!" Ari said

"Yes I know. Before you exit will be performing here! Yay!" He said sarcastically.

As we were laughing the front door opened. Then I heard my mom yelled "Alright all of you, out now or all of you will be late"

The three of us hurriedly grab our things as my dad kissed my mom saying good morning and goodbye.

"Bye mom!" I said kissing her cheeks then run towards the car.

I sat in the backseat with my brother. As we were driving my sister is still persuading my dad to buy us tickets to BYE's show. I didn't hear much because I drifted off to my own world.

So you probably dont know me yet so I'll introduce myself to you. My name is Ryley Heather Black but my family call me Ry.I'm half Filipino and half American. I have long brown wavy hair and brown eyes. And I have a brother, a twin actually but we're not identical. His name is Heath Andrew Black. Has black hair and blue eyes plus his a little taller than me. Since we're twins, we're turning 16 on May seventeenth. Then my youngest sibling is Arianna Belle Black. She got blonde hair and brown eyes. She is 14 now.

My father's name Christopher Mark Black. He is American. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He actually grew up in Orlando, Florida sometimes we visit grandma and grandpa there and I miss them so much. That is actually where my dad met my mom. My mom, Emily Jade Black, went there to visit some of her relatives who live there. My mom is a nurse here and works at night. So we rarely got to see her, thats also the reason why all three of us is really close to our dad. The reason we live here in Philippines now is because my dad loves it here. He said that Filipinos are nice and hospitable and always happy. So they moved here and got married. So most of my childhood memories is here and I like it here!

"Alright here we are. Bye guys" my dad said

"Bye daddy!" Ari said kissing my dad's cheek.

"Bye dad" Heath said.

"Bye daddy" I said kissing his cheek "I love you"

"Bye, love you too, sweetie" my dad

When I got to my locker I didnt bother getting my books, just some notebooks. I closed my locker then head towards our classroom. I heard my brother calling my name so I turn around and saw him running to me. When he got beside me we began to walk towards our classroom.

"I hate the way these guys look at you" he mumbled shooting daggers at some boys looking at me. Yeah he's very protective that's why I love my brother.

"You tell me! These girls has been looking at you the same way" I said.

"What?! They are not" he said looking at me like I'm crazy

"Hi Heath" said a girl flirtatiously.

"See!" I said while he stick his tongue out to me then said "Whatever"

When we reached our classroom we walk to our seats. A few minutes later the teacher walked in and started talking. About what? I dont know because I'm busy doodling in my notebook and if you asked my brother he wouldn't know either because he is busy chatting with his seatmate. This is going to be a long a day. I thought.
