2:00 P.M. – The Spies' Beach House

At the spies' beach house, Sam, Clover, and Alex were in the den trying to cool off from the day so far.

"How much longer until Nick and Mat and Britney come back?" Alex wondered.

Nick, Mat, and Britney were out of the house picking up lunches for everybody.

"Hopefully it won't be much longer," Sam answered.

"I agree," Clover added.

Alex and Clover both had crop tops on – white for Alex, and pink for Clover. Alex had on a green skirt and Clover had on pink jeans. Sam had on a green tanktop and white shorts.

"Did anybody get a look at what today's weather was?" Sam wondered. "All I saw was suns across the weather forecast this morning."

"I think I saw it was 82 degrees as today's high," Alex answered.

Clover looked for a nearby thermometer.

"79 right now," Clover told them.

"Well, not too bad," Alex commented.

"I say we kill some time doing something while we wait," Clover told her two best friends.

They nodded until they all seemed to eye their backyard pool.

"The pool," they all said in unison.

"Hold on..." Sam pointed out. "When was the last time we cleaned it?"

"I don't think it should be too bad," Clover deduced.

Sam and Alex went to take a look for themselves.

"What do ya think, Sammy?" Alex wondered when they both looked at the water.

"Well, it's not really dirty," Sam answered. "Never hurts to clean it though – you never know if any birds passing by may have left a calling card or anything..."

"So, you think we should clean it?" Alex asked.

"Maybe a little," Sam quipped.

They went back in to tell Clover the ultimate verdict.

"Thankfully, it's not too bad, but we might as well," Sam admitted. "Never know when something might happen, right?"

"Well, let's go then," Alex remarked.

"Wait..." Sam replied. "Are we going swimming in it afterwards?" she asked.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea to beat the heat," Clover commented.

Alex nodded. "Why do you ask, Sammy?" she wondered.

"Just making sure," Sam merely answered.

Something came over Clover in terms of dress code.

"Let's get changed, girls," Clover told the others.

In the meantime, Nick, Mat, and Britney had just arrived back home with lunches in hand.

"Well, I hope the girls have an appetite worked up," Mat told the others.

"I'm pretty sure they have one," Nick chuckled.

"I wonder what they're up to," Britney stated.

Mat was looking back a bit past the bushes at something.

"Dude, what's up?" Nick wondered.

"I thought I saw Alex briefly at the backyard pool," Mat answered.

"You did?" Nick wondered as they got inside. "Are they swimming?"
