After i posted that photo to my story I thought nothing of it until i got a million DMs asking me if i was pregnant. I obviously am not but I still want to make sure so I ask Rudy to get me a pregnancy test just to confirm.
I have to admit i was nervous, I don't want to be a mother yet. I couldn't, I had Outer banks and many different things going on but it is nice to imagine it for a bit.
"Call me in once you're done!" Rudy's voice floods my now ringing ear drums as i finish peeing on the pregnancy test.
"Ok done." I breathe shakily making my airways close slightly as my ears start ringing in a louder and more piercing sound. I walk over to the toilet seat and sit there as Rudy watches the test at the sink with weary eyes. I put my trembling hands on my head trying to stop the now pounding headache that brings me to close my eyes in pain.
"Hey Lay? Lay?" Rudy's voice comes into contact with my ears making me look up to him with teary eyes. "Hey, Hey. Everything will be okay. I promise." He tells me crouching down to my level while putting his hands on my knees, his thumbs lightly stroking my skin.
"What if its positive?" I say with a slight stutter making a tear fall down my cheek. Rudy automatically wiping it off with his thumb.
"If it is we will figure it out, I'll be here one hundred percent of the time right by your side." He reassures me with a smile until the timer on my phone goes off.
"Fuck." I stand up as Rudy checks it knowing i wouldnt want to.
"Okay, 3, 2, 1." He counts down before flipping it around so he can read it. His face is terribly unreadable.
"Rudes? What is it?" I ask anxiously. He looks up at me making unbreakable eye contact.
