That was her fake name she used in the normal world, in Asgard she used Artemis. She grew up there even though she probably didn't belong to Asgard. But even then they treated her as their own. Dorothy was a beautiful woman, her natural hair was an icy blonde and her eyes were like a doe's. She soon discovered that even as she aged her physical body never changed, she looked like a 20 year old.
Dorothy grew up hunting with her twin brother Apollo, however as time past he dissapeared from her life. She had the power to change herself or others into animals, which is why Loki and her formed a strong bond as kids while pranking Thor. Dorothy also had a perfect aim with the bow and was considered the goddess of wild animals and the hunt.
