Walking into the Salvatore house Zeara's jaw dropped in shock, and only she knew why
She had just overheard Elena tell Damon that Esther plans on killing all her children and linked them all last night. She said it was mostly to kill Klaus but the others had to go down with him
Damon and Elena had no idea about Zeara standing there and continued their conversation until the Velesco witch was brought of her shock and spoke up
"I'm sorry what?! You said she put your blood in their champagne to link them all together last night when we did the toast?"
No one had any idea where this was going or what she was going to say, but she sounded very concerned. Damon raised an eyebrow "Yes, and why do you look like someone just shot a panda bear? This is great, Klaus will finally be dead, we win."
The teen witch took a deep breath thankful that she was with Klaus when they were drinking the champagne "No, no you don't win. Esther could just kill one in order to kill Klaus, that would be if they were linked."
She was looked at suspiciously and very confused, but the witch continued speaking "Klaus wasn't there when they were making the toast, meaning he didn't drink the champagne. By the looks on your faces I'm sure Esther didn't notice either and still linked them, only thing is Klaus isn't a part of it."
Elena internally panicked because she told Esther and Finn when to do it, and confirmed Klaus was there drinking the champagne. She screwed this entire thing up but stopped for a minute when she realized that only Zeara knew he wasn't there
The doppelganger instantly began questioning the witch not letting her answer "How do only you know this? Were you with him! What were you doing with him alone!"
Striding in the room Stefan spoke at his ex girlfriend with a warningful tone and a glare "Elena stop. You need to let her answer one question." The Velesco gratefully nodded at her best friend and took a slow inhale prepared for their backlash
"I just went with him to his art room ok that's all. He wanted to show me some of his paintings and sketches understanding I also sketch and paint." She left out the part about the kiss just because she wasn't ready to even tell herself that it was ok
Elena's eyes widened and she whispered like she cracked some sort of code, when she didn't "You're lying, aren't you. You knew this about this plan all along and purposely got him away from the toast. You're working with him" She looked at the brunette witch with betrayal
