Destiny looks down at her child, cradled gently in Chance's hand who honestly just looked glad that they had managed to grab Error before he fell to far into Void's territory.

Love caught her eye, looking like he tasted something sour, and not being one to hold their thoughts or tongue he didn't hesitate in opening their mouth.

"We can't bring him back M'Lady, we just can't. Fate will tear him apart."

'More than she already has' is left unsaid but all deities present knew it was there.

Destiny couldn't help but scowl, her eyes narrowing as she stared down Love, the atmosphere feeling a tad heavier than usual, Chance shifted slightly away but not the young deity of course, even if he should have, but they were too stubborn for his own good.

"You really think I'd let him go back to her?"

Love's gaze never wavered or faltered.

"Yes. I think you would, M'Lady."

If Error wasn't there, Love–and Chance by proxy–would have been crushed to paste by Destiny's killer intent.

But he was there so Destiny just slammed her hand onto the ground next to Love, bending down to bare her teeth to the deity as she growled.

"On what grounds do you, a disgrace to Nim, stand on to accuse me of such?"

That caused Love to flinch–good–their eyes breaking contact for a moment before his shoulders squared and Love met the angered deity's gaze once more.

"M'Lady, with all do respect, you must see it from a different point of view. Over the last millennia that you and your dear sister's universe has existed, you, M'Lady, have time and time again given in to your sisters wishes, no matter how...." Love hesitated, their gaze flicking over to Chance and to the young–well young compared to them–skeleton that rested in the other deities' hand before sighing. "...no matter how horrendous some of those wishes were, you gave in time and time again, not even considering that you've never reported her to the Council despite knowing very well that they would have put Lady Fate back into her place." Love huffed, running a hand through their hair as he looked at the more subdued deity.

"M'Lady, it's gotten to the point that you don't have equal power to her in a shared universe."

Destiny hunched in on herself, long curly hair covered her face as she sat there in silence and took in the younger deities' words.

Love took the silence as an opportunity to move over to Chance, tapping their knee to gain their attention before climbing onto their thighs, making a grabbing gesture towards Error.

Chance lowered their hand gently, low enough for the other deity to climb onto as there was enough room for them on there to not touch the passed out skeleton. Love leaned against their thumb as he took in the sight that was Error, mentally checking every injury that the skeleton monster had.

There were a lot of checks.

"You're right."

The two deities couldn't help but jump slightly in surprise at Destiny's voice, no matter how quiet it was, she sighed regretfully.

"Over the years I've done nothing but let my sister do whatever she wanted, no matter how bad those decisions were, I said nothing because I had foolishly let the affection I held for my sister stop me, deluding myself into believing that the things she was doing weren't really that bad, that I was just overthinking everything." Destiny shuffled closer to the two other deities, bending forward more till she was closer to her unconscious child, a finger rose and just barely rubbed the skeleton's head.
