I was walking downstairs while scratching the top of my messy hair as I yawned. My eyes felt heavy, and I was still pretty tired. I had a long day of work yesterday and I only got..4 hours of sleep. Ughh.
I entered the kitchen to see my older sister, Kim Minju, and her boyfriend, Kang Young-soo making breakfast in the kitchen. The music playing from the speaker filled the room with the sweet scent of pancakes on the stove.
I sighed and looked at the two, ahh I really wish I had something like that..but with a girl you know? Smirk, Smirk.
I sat down on the counter as my sister turned around and shrieked in fear, she had her hand placed over her chest while eyeing me.
Me and her boyfriend laughed at her and she immidietly smacked him with the spatula. I started laughing as I watched the two.
"Oi! I'm sorry! Jeez calm down!" Young-soo yelled out with a laugh. Minju sighed and started to place the pancakes on our plates.
"Anyways, what time did you sleep last night?" Minju asked me, I scratched the back of my head and gave a small chuckle.
"Uhm~" I mumbled, she looked at me with her serious eyes and sighed heavily. I looked down at my plate and took a bite of pancake.
"Listen Seojun, you still need a full sleep schedule. If you don't sleep enough, you'll be tired everyday." She explained, I sighed and just nodded my head silently.
"Okay, sorry." I said softly, she lifted my chin and cupped my face. She smiled and patted my head softly.
"Its okay..wait." She paused and looked at me, I looked at her with wide eyes once she turned my head to face her.
"Do you wanna spend some time alone? Like go for a vacation by yourself for a while!" She said excitingly.
"S-sure.." I said while stuttering. I had never travelled alone before, I mean, I'm 18 yeah but I've never travelled by myself.
''It'll be fun!!" Minju said with a cute smile. I looked at her and smiled back.
"Alright..maybe it isn't a bad idea." I said with a laugh, Young-soo stood up and sighed after finishing his drink.
"If you're is spending her time away somewhere, does that mean I and Minju get time alone here at the house?" Young-soo asked me.
"Yeah? Why? What are you planning to do..?" I asked Young-soo while raising my eyebrow, Minju laughed and grabbed my arm making me look at her.
"Come on Seojun, let's get you packed." She said, I smiled and nodded as she dragged me up the stairs and immidietly grabbed my suitcase.
"Alright, hmm..lets grab some summer clothes, your resources for hygiene, chargers, earphones, and other stuff.." She kept going on and on and on about the things I needed to pack, which got pretty boring..so I quickly zoned out until I heard her yell.
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?" She shouted at me making me jump. I smiled awkwardly at her making her eye roll.
"Anyways, I got you all packed up. You go get ready, I'll buy you plane tickets." She said walking out of the room. I smiled and ran over to my closet.
It took me a while to pick a nice airport outfit but I eventually found it and it looked REALLY nice. I haven't wore this in a while so its..refreshing.

I dragged my suitcase down the stairs and I saw Minju and Young-soo already standing near the door. Minju had already transferred the plane ticket to my phone, so I was set.
"Hey buddy, while you're there..maybe you'll find a special some you know what I meann?" He said while winking at me and patting my shoulder.
"Yeahhh sureee~" I said while playfully rolling my eyes.
Minju looked at me with a smile on her face, she walked closer to me and held my face.
"Listen, if you ever need anything, call me okay? Stay safe on your journey!!" Minju told me. I smiled at her and nodded.
Before I left, Minju patted me on the back as Young-soo patted my head.
I waved goodbye and closed the door behind me. I got into my car, placed the keys in, and started driving to the airport.
A few minutes later..
I had arrived and I parked the car in a reserved parking spot underground. I entered the airport and saw not too many people wandering around.
I walked to my plane and waited on the benches for a while till I heard the radio say..
"Attention, Plane 201 will now be entering passengers"
I got up with my suitcase and started walking towards the doors, I gave the staff my airplane ticket and boarded the plane.
I sat down at my seat, which was a great seat cause I could see the window, I rested comfortably and no one sat beside me.
I looked around and I saw the flight attendant with her trolly of snacks. I smiled when she came up to me.
"Hello! Would you like anything?" She asked me. I looked at the trolly and smiled.
"Could I have some gummies? And some gum cause my ears are popping hehe." She nodded and gave me both before walking away.
I turn on the mini TV in front of me and started watching the available movies and shows on the screen. I plugged in the earphones and munched on my snacks.
And I felt tired, I still had a few hours till getting there. I tried hard to stay awake just in case. I kept watching the show with my tired eyes and I kept yawning here and there.
"Maybe if I just.." and before I could finish my own sentence, I dozed off. Heading off to dreamland, I could probably get some sleep till then.
Maybe..just maybe..this vacation won't be so bad.
