For Lee Sae Bom there was no reason to doubt Mr. Jang was anything but extraordinary. After years of watching him from her desk outside of his office, and the short conversations she'd had with him, he seemed perfect. Way too perfect.
He had managed to achieve great things as the head of the company, despite never doing any hard work or sacrificing himself in any way.
A couple of signatures here, a few important calls there, a press conference over there. That is all he seemed to do. And yet, still, the company stood tall and was fast becoming one of the best.
Why? How had he managed to do it all while doing absolutely nothing?
So, it came as no surprise to her when one day, after finding a gun at his desk, he had crumbled in front of her. As the truth spilled out of his mouth like a faucet, she had only nodded in silence.
And even after Mr. Jang told her the truth, she still believed him to be perfect. And that day was only the beginning of something much greater.
