Prologue

I opened my eyes only to close them again, I opened them again and blinked a few times getting used to the bright sunlight. I groaned as I grabbed my head, I slowly got up only making my pounding head worse. I looked around and saw I wasn't to far from everyone else.

"Where are we" Sokka asked in confusion

"For once you asked a good question" I said

"Thank you wait what's that supposed to mean" he shouted

I grimaced

"Be quite would you I have a pounding headache" I told him

"Aang what do we do?" Katara wondered

"I think we should at least find a village so we have food" he said

"Twinkle toes is right we don't have any food or water and we also don't have Appa" Toph spoke

"Your kidding right" Sokka groaned

"Sokka your not blind like her and yet she still can see better then you" I scoffed

"I don't need your attitude young lady" Sokka scolded

"What are you my dad" I asked

He puffed out his chest

"Because may I mind you my dad never gave two shits about me" I told him

"Language" Katara said

I rolled my eyes

"Anyways let's get moving, the suns starting to set and we don't know how far we are" Aang spoke

We nodded and started walking, the walk was quiet maybe because we where all wondering where we were and how we got here to begin with.

We soon came across a gate, we walked in and saw that the gate guards where asleep. I brought my hand up to shoot water at them but Katara grabbed my arm and pushed it down.

"Your no fun" I whined

Aang walked over and cleared his throat, the two man woke up and looked at us.

"Can we help you" one asked rubbing his eyes

Aang started talking to them but ignored them and just looked around us, looking at the houses and how peaceful it was.

'Is it possible that the fire nation hasn't reached this village yet' I wondered

I felt someone grab my hand and pull me, I looked over and saw it was Katara. I didn't bother taking my hand out of her hold, I may be cold to them but I am close to them and they now it. They also now that it's not easy for me to open up to people but I have to them and I do show emotions around them sometimes.

I walked next to her looking around and seeing people looking at us. I glared at them but I also took in what they where wearing and it was different from ours in fact they where all wearing different clothing, they had none to show what nation they where from.

Soon we came to a building which the men lead us up some stairs to a door, he knocked on the door.

"Come in" I heard someone say

When we walked in I saw an old man sitting at the desk smoking, I gripped Kataras hand a little tighter to let her know I was on guard.

"How can I help you kids?" He asked

"Well we kinda need a place to stay" Aang told him rubbing his head a little

"Alright but I'm gonna have to ask some questions" the old man said
