This is an idea for a museum piece, there is a 9ft tall (semi-human creature) skeleton and a 5ft4 in the female human skeleton. There are vines growing from the dirt beneath them, hence "growing in death". The flowers used in this piece are real, just preserved in resin. The story of the lovers is unknown but deeply intriguing even still. This was an idea I came up with via the idea that during cremation, the bones do not burn. This provides a beautiful way to put the bones to use and make them a part of something bigger.

While the 9ft tall skeleton could be fantasy, this could be the story of two very real lovers.
