"Hey, Hobi."

The first thing J-Hope noticed was how timid George sounded when approaching him. Hands clasped together, George took small steps into the studio, where J-Hope was presumably working on some new stuff. The last thing George wanted was to be seen as a bother, but he really needed some help.

As usual, J-Hope turned in his chair with the brightest smile lightening up his face, silently making it known that he was all ears. Closing the door behind him, George stepped further into the room and came to stop by J-Hope's chair, resembling a nervous toddler. At first, J-Hope assumed George was experiencing some anxiety, so he quickly placed a hand on his fellow 94 liner's shoulder and rubbed it to ease any tension.

"Are you okay?" The concern in J-Hope's voice was evident, matching the worry that swirled around his chocolate brown eyes.

George nodded. "Yeah, I just don't wanna be seen as a burden but my parents will be attending the concert and it's the last time I will see them before they leave for England, and the boys said it would be cool to do my own little dance solo for them, but I have no idea what to do and I just was wondering if you'd... you know... help me put something together?"

The previous concern melted into the widest smile George had ever seen from J-Hope. The Jung male jumped to his feet excitedly.

"I'd love to help you!"

George breathed out a sigh of relief. He had no idea what he would've done if J-Hope said no.

"Thank you so much."

"Of course, you know I am always here to help!" J-Hope beamed, clapping his hands. "So, Georgie! What were you thinking?"

"I don't know... I just really wanna impress them. I don't wanna take up too much time."

J-Hope nodded. "Okay, well why don't we incorporate something that means a lot to them?"

"Oh, maybe it could be something to their anniversary song? Isn't She Lovely was playing when they first met- maybe, we could put something together to that?"

"That would work. We have a few weeks to put everything together, which is more than enough time. We can do this!"

George grinned. He could only hope his parents would love it.

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

Two weeks later, and the choreography was finished.

It had been so nice spending the majority of his time with J-Hope that the days had flown by without him even realizing, and now they were a week away from the concert and George's nerves were really starting to act up. The small dance break wasn't longer than two minutes, and he trusted J-Hope when he said it looked amazing but the idea of his parents disliking it was buried in the back of George's head.

"Why don't we take a break, you've been working on it since 6 this morning and you will pass out if you don't rest." J-Hope handed a very sweaty George, a freezing cold bottle of water which he had put in the freezer at 6 am knowing George would appreciate it greatly later.

With shaky hands, George took the water and he swore his body shivered in pure bliss.

"Why do you seem so nervous? You're never this on edge before a concert." J-Hope knows George like the back of his hand, it's very hard for George to lie when J-Hope is in the frame.

Dropping the water bottle to the side, George ran two hands through his sweaty hair and breathed out a sigh. "I just- this is the last time they will see me for a while, and I don't want to disappoint them."

"Georgie, you could never disappoint them. They will love this, I swear you are doing well. I'm proud of you," J-Hope's words were sincere as he pulled his fretting member into a hug. What was supposed to be a quick embrace, turned into something much longer as George clung to J-Hope's body, not yet ready to let go.

And you better know that J-Hope wouldn't dare move a muscle if George needed him this bad.

Though George had come to terms with the idea of not having his family living in the same country, it didn't make things any easier. He knew it was for the best for the sake of his grandparents, and he'd never be selfish enough to stop the move ⎯ he wouldn't ever forgive himself if he even tried. J-Hope knew the need to perfect this solo was all down to the move. It was a distraction, a way of letting his emotions lose.

What J-Hope didn't expect, however, was for his member to start violently sobbing in his arms. A subject of exhaustion; George just couldn't hold himself together much longer. He wasn't going to see his siblings grow, and he was afraid that they would forget about him. FaceTime, and phone calls are a thing and he knew his parents would always put his videos on YouTube for them, but it wasn't the same as being there.

J-Hope ran his hands through George's hair, barely noticing the sweat which drenched the strands as he pressed a kiss to his head.

"What if they forget me?" His voice was weak, almost desperate and it tore J-Hope apart.

"You're very hard to forget, George Lee. No matter how far away they are from you, you are always connected to them. And I am sure they don't want to leave you just as much as you don't want them to go."

"I brought burgers!" The door barged open, and in walked Kim Taehyung. He stopped in his tracks in an instant when he saw the sobbing mess on the floor. The bag immediately slipped from his hands and dropped to the ground, but he was busy running to his members to notice.

"Aish! You dropped them!" Jungkook's voice came after him. "Huh? Hyung?"

The Maknae moved towards the group, settling in front of George, who was quick to wipe his eyes. The last thing he wanted was for the Maknae's to see him weak. Sure, they weren't babies anymore but still, George wanted to look strong and reliable in front of them.

"Why are you wiping your eyes? We won't judge you for being sad," Taehyung assured him.

George only sniffled. "I don't even know anymore."

"Look Hyung, I know being away from your family is hard trust me. I've never lived a whole country away from my parents, but from being a teenager I hardly ever saw them and it was horrible. But I had you guys and that made things so much easier. You were my family away from home, still are. All I'm saying is, it will be hard to adjust at first but soon you will get used to it and so will they."

George smiled through his tears, patting Jungkook on the shoulder. "Thanks, Kookie."

"No problem, but can I borrow 2-" Jungkook's laughter filled the room as George pushed his head to the side playfully, Taehyung and Hoseok watching the pair interact in awe.

"Right!" Taehyung clapped. "Let's eat these burgers and then you can show us your dance! I've been dying to see it but I'm starving, so food comes first."

George didn't know what would happen after his family left, he didn't know how he was going to cope nor how he was going to react when it officially set in that they weren't just a drive away anymore.

But, he knew he would be okay. Because not only did he have his Army right around him, but his home away from home too: his members.
