There she sat on the top of the high hill, writing in her book, completely oblivious to her surroundings. She was in her own world. The mysterious women sat in the depths of the dark night, where the stars hid behind the opaque clouds. Birds silently chirped as they fell to their slumber and the rustling of leaves being blown by the light dancing wind was the only sound to be heard.
Her charcoal locks cascading down her shoulders, to finally rest upon her back. She had an olive complexion that was illuminated by the pale moonlight in the far distance. Sun kissed, she was. Who was she?. Thena, Thena Regina Kravsá, named after the Greek Goddess Athena. A powerful name for a brave, adventurous woman. A runaway, she may have been described to others, but she was truly a girl from a rich, upper class family, who had run away from her manipulative mother who controlled her every move and action. It was too much for her to handle. So she decided to run away from her home through her bedroom window with curtains tied together to act as a rope. Knowing that her mother would eventually find her, she wasted no time to write whatever was on her mind in a tranquil, deserted area , where no soul would dare to enter after the sun fell. Suddenly, a faint rustle of leaves was heard in the background and she snapped out her daydream... or shall I say nightdream?
"Who is there!" Thena yelled, her heart beating as fast as horses on the run. Anxiety silently crept in until a deep startling voice was heard.
He was the Prince of Moreá. Silently standing behind the oak tree admiring her every feature. The Kingdom that he was from was as beautiful as ever, Mother Nature had blessed this area because it was perfect, peaceful; almost too good to be true, as some may say.
