Izuku yagi life wasn't great he was born prematurely so for his entire life he was indoors all the time never allowed to leave not even school so his parents decided to keep him a secret while they train their sister izumi.

Japan hospital where we find izuku yagi connected to life support ask for you see he was found hanging himself his parents found them a quickly took him to the hospital. The doctors explained that he may not make it so they decided to stay with him.
Izumi his sister told her parents that she and her friends (bakugo, katsumi, todoroki, shota, Iida, Tiana [Iida sis]) immediately gasp got their attention as many family members were their in shock.
