Yumi's POV
It was a beautiful day and I was already finished making Onigiri for both Yuki and Shigure
"Yuki! I made Onigiri feel free to take some!" I called out to the boy who was still getting ready for school
I heard an okay from upstairs and I went to call Shigure but I heard talking at the front of the house
I went to see and I saw Shigure talking to a girl
"Oh, Shigure who's this?" I spoke asking the annoying idiot "Ah, hello Yumi-chan! Is breakfast ready?" He asked me
"Don't try changing the subject" I glared at him and the girl panicked thinking we're about to argue or fight
"I-I'm Tohru Honda! I'm sorry I was looking without permission!" She spoke panicking while repeatedly bowing
"Go ahead, though I doubt there's anything young people find interesting here" Shigure said
"Mhm, and no need to bow, I know Shigure's old but you don't have to bow to me I still prefer to be young" I smiled at Tohru who smiled back with a small blush
"You wound me Yumi-chan!" Shigure said with crocodile tears as he crouches down
"That's not true!" Tohru said waving her hands "These Chinese Zodiac figurines are so cute!" She points to the figurines
"Oh, I like them too" Shigure commented happy again making me sweat drop
"Your interested with the Zodiac's huh?" I asked her "Yes! Although I don't see the cat among them" Tohru said
"Cat? Oh you mean the cat from the Zodiac's folk tale?" Shigure asked for confirmation
"Yes, my mom would often tell me that story" she as she tells the story of her past my eyes soften as I remembered my parents but I shook those thoughts away
"Really, I wonder what face he'd make if he heard that... " Shigure mumbled to me
"He'd be flustered and he'd try to to shake the feelings away by yelling I'd bet" I mumbled back to him as he chuckled agreeing
"What?" Tohru got confused at us but Shigure changed the subject
"So, you were born in the Year of the Dog? I kind of feel a sense of affinity with you, I'm a Dog... As well" he said
Then suddenly someone threw a bag on Shigure's head and I kicked him knocking him away a bit
"Enough with the flirting!" I yelled at Shigure "Are you okay Honda-san? Did my cousin do something weird? " Yuki asked the girl
"Good morning Soma-kun!" Tohru greeted with a blush bowing at Yuki
"Does he have a dictionary somewhere here?! And are your legs made of rocks?!" Shigure asked me with crocodile tears once again
