TwinHistory: V'Len was born to parents Sarek and Amanda on the planet Vulcan, shortly after her brother Spock. Despite growing up well cared for by their parents, Spock and V'Len felt unwelcomed and ostracized from their own people. As a result, they were mercilessly picked on, and bullied by other kids. Which often led to them being blamed for things they did not do. The twins were considered to be some of the brightest students of their age group.
There were some key differences that Sarek and Amanda had noticed between their children as they grew. Despite the few emotional outbursts he had, Spock was more inclined to behave like a standard Vulcan child. Both in public, and at home. V'Len however, would be more inclined to behave emotionally at home, and around those she felt comfortable with.
When they reached nineteen years of age, the siblings graduated from their standard schooling, and were accepted into the Vulcan Science Academy. Although it came with great reluctance from most of the council members. Had one of the council members not insulted their human heritage. In turn, the siblings turned the invetation down and chose to attend Star Fleet Academy instead.
Spock's path lead him to a career as not only a science officer, but as a teacher at the academy as well. V'Len chose the paths of xenobiology, and xenobotany. Which lead her to a career on many of Star Fleet's ships.....
