We met in Genshin impact, a game that has amazing graphics and storyline, it was somewhere in February.
When I first started playing this game, I thought I'd be bored of it immediately.
But soon after I got attached to it, I finally reached Adventure rank 16.
A rank where Co-op unlocks.
I was so scared of meeting new people.
Older players, high ranked or just bored players love to join other people's world to help them.
Most specifically lower Ar
I kept declining every Co-op invite I've gotten until this one Co-op invite appeared.
I checked their profile to see them only at 20 (something) so j thought they only need materials
I was so scared but I thought to myself 'why not?' So j accepted despite being scared
When I clicked the check button, I immediately regretted it.
But it was too late to turn back, The person whose name was rose joined
I nervously said hi and they said hi back, I asked her if she needed anything and she said "No I'm fine, how about you? Do you need help?"
(Not the actual convo but it went like this)
Since I was just exploring at that time I said "No, I'm good. Just exploring"
So she asked me if I wanted to do a domain with her, I didn't know a lot about the game back then so I didn't know what a domain was.
I asked her and she told me to follow her to a domain nearby, we couldn't do the domain since I was still very low on ar so we explored instead.
The nervousness left my body and I started being comfortable
I asked so many things about the game and she explained it nicely to me, even if she had to repeat things over and over again.
I had fun in this Co-op, I'm so glad I accepted it.
I had to leave so I added her.
Turning off my device, I couldn't help but let out a smile.
I made a friend :)

I got addicted to the game and started playing it first thing in the morning after waking up.
Me and Ciny played almost every day, I even started calling her "sis" which I find lokey cringy now :')
We hang out more often and she kept teaching me more stuff about Genshin, I also started accepting Co-ops more often and I wasn't scared anymore
One day when I was playing, I saw a Co-op invite from her so I accepted immediately.
We asked each other at the same time if we had discord, it was really funny
We added each other on discord and started chatting more often there
At first, I was scared (I don't know why but I was)
I didn't know what to say or what conversation I should start.
Over time me and Ciny got closer, she told me her real name and I came up with the nickname 'Ciny'
We kept getting closer to each other and started telling each other stories of our lives.
I never thought I'd open up so much to a person I met at a game.
We talked every day, despite our opposite time zones
We made everything work.
We've gotten more comfortable with each other and talked about stuff...yeah stuff...
We yelled at each other, fought each other over stupid stuff
Helped each other through tough times in our lives.
She has become an important person in my life
Even if she's only an online friend, I trust her so much, I tell her my secrets and stuff I haven't even told anyone else
She was always there for me, even when no one else was.
She kept supporting me with the stuff I tell her (not with my choices on Genshin men though...)
Tells me to take care of myself and not to stress myself too much
Every time I'm down, she would be there to comfort me.
Especially at the time, I was at my lowest, where I felt like giving up and that all hope was lost.
She was there.
She was always there.
Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have her in my life
This wonderful friendship was started cause of a game.
I'm so glad I chose America server and that I accepted that Co-op
I don't know how my life would've been if I didn't
I feel like, without her, my life would've been a mess by now
