BLOOD was everywhere. The cries of the other grew mute with each second that passed. The crimson liquid soaked Eloise's shirt as her breathes became more uneven, more unsteady with each passing moment. Her vision began to blur and she couldn't tell what was worse, the physical pain of death inching closer or the body of someone she loved beyond words now shriveled up into something barely recognizable.

"You cannot argue with the judge Ammit, we are only sparing the world of the evil they would do," The man said in a way that almost sounded fatherly.

Eloise turned her attention to him, she winced as she quickly pulled out the dagger that was in her stomach and with adrenaline surging through her veins she pulled him closer with the same dagger pointed at his throat, "I don't know when or where, but one day I will tear you limb from limb, making sure your last moments are filled with nothing but agony."

He chuckled making her almost crack her jaw with the tension, with a speed she never saw coming he used his cane to knock a blow to her head, almost rendering her unconscious. Him and his follows left her to die alongside her friends, seemingly alone with nothing but the sounds of a fading heart to fill the stillness of the air.
