Ken Rosenberg had felt like his friendship with Tommy was one-sided. Ken tried to be friendly to Tommy, only to be put down and mocked. Tommy was only using Ken to stay out of jail, and that painful truth hurt him.
Then, Ken had a moment. Tommy came into the bar, wearing his new suit. His sleeves were rolled up, shirt slightly unbuttoned, hair was messy but in a charming and handsome way. Tommy had really been taking care of himself lately, and Ken could tell. Ken couldn't tell if it was just the cocaine he had been snorting, but his heart started pounding. His chest felt light and his head felt fluttery, similarly to how he felt with his crushes in high school.
"Oh shit." Ken accidentally muttered, taking Tommy aback.
"Huh?" Tommy asked, his voice making Ken panic even more.
"I think I saw too much- I mean, drank too much!" Ken said, blushing profusely.
