"Eve!" Mom yelled from downstairs.

"What." I mumbled.

"Eve! Get down here right now!"

"What?!" I yelled as I scurried down the stairs.

"I have to drop you off at your friend's house, remember?" Mom asked.

I finally remember this, like it illuminated into my mind just then.

"Alright. I know, I know." I replied.

I hopped into Mom's car. The car went in the opposite direction of Kaitlyn's house.

"Mom," I said.

"What, Eve?" Mom replied.

I didn't answer. I started to fiddle with the lock on the door.

"Eve!" Mom yelled as the car turned left.

I didn't answer.

"Eve!" She yelled again.

I still didn't answer. Why would I want to? Mom is going crazy.

"Evelyn!" Mom yelled again, this time more paranoid.

I didn't answer. Her ruthless actions are breaking my heart.

"Evelyn Mackenzie Stone!" Mom yelled.

Her cheeks turned this bright red color. Oh no. What will happen next. Mom yelled my full name! She has never done that. Never. My middle name was never mentioned until now. Her ruthless actions are so unpredictable, but yet they're invincible at the same time. Being acquiesce isn't possible today. Mom's too ruthless. Everything that's going on is killing me. I know something about Mom. She's getting drunk a lot and smoking sometimes. This is a bad sign. It's bad for her health. And now, I'm starting not to care.

Mom threw me out of the car in an instant. I felt my body fall onto the cold hard ground, my pelvis shattering into two and then, the world went black.
