‘The first day of school. At a new school.
Wow. Lovely.’ Raven thought.
The previous year, Raven had tried online homeschool for the pandemic, but it didn't ever work out, so them and their parents decided it'd be best to retake the grade. They didn't ever like the people they'd previously went to school with, so they didn't mind.
Raven and they're mom sat in the line for school for quite some time before they'd let us in.
The rest of the school day went on quite normal and peaceful.
The daily cycle of getting up early, getting ready, going to school, drawing in class, and having a headache by the end of the day repeated for months.
Seemed as if time was becoming a blur.
