Background: Born the year 992 AD, Izuku was given over to Vikings as an infant for protection against the English zealots hunting his father. He was trained by the Vikings in the way of the hammer, and became a master. One night in his dreams, he was contacted directly by the ghost of Thor. As it turned out, Ragnarök was not the end of the world, but the beginning. The gods died long before the age of man. Now, they were looking for people to carry on their legacies. Izuku inherited the strength of Thor, but would only get his full power if he found the hammer and gauntlets. Mjolnir and Járngreipr. After this vision, Izuku was granted the title God-Touched, and given his own longship and crew. They set out, back to Scandinavia, in hopes of finding the relics of the gods. They found the gauntlets there, and an inscription on a cave wall that would lead them to Japan. When they found the hammer, Izuku took it up, and was sent flying forward in time. How will he fair in a brave new world of quirks?
