Sure it was ironic that Stella had a fear of flying when being in the top 1% of pilots. But they say there's no better way of confronting your fear than facing them head on. Coming back to Top Gun may be a good time for nostalgia and laughs however she never excepted the certain relationships beginning to brew between her new peers. And maybe along the way she'd learn to face her other greater fears.
