Background: Alexxa LaMontagne was born and raised in rural Harlan County Kentucky, she was raised by her abusive criminal father, mother passed away when she was 16 years old, her older brother Michael 19 years got out of Harlan County for college, graduated joined the United States Marines and later joined DEA. As a young girl she would frequently run away to her best friend Raylan Givens, and they would stay at his aunt Helen's place.
When Raylan left for college, she felt alone and devastated but he did not leave without telling her goodbye and promised to keep in touch.
Alexxa graduated HighSchool with a 4.0 GPA, softball scholarship, she worked two jobs to save moneyfor college and Harlan County which she got accepted in. After graduating collegewith a degree in Criminal Justice, Engineering, Chemistry, she moved out ofHarlan County and applied to the FBI Academy in Louisville Kentucky. After 5years in the FBI, Alexxa decided a change of career she put papers for atransfer for the US Marshal and it ended up getting her sent to the LexingtonField Office in Kentucky where she meets an old friend and new colleagues, onethat she finds very attractive despite his hard exterior.
