"Get yo dumb ass out this police car." My dad said and I hugged before the police officer pulled me out the car and took the hand cuffs off.
"Where my baby at?" I asked.
"Landon you need to get yo' self together." He said looking at me.
"I do got myself together- This ain't the time to be fighting Kamille." He cut me off.
"Nah cause how she just gone come in here all concerned like she ain't been the meanest person to Kaelyn and i'm supposed to let the shit slide cause we don't know if she gone wake up or not? That's some bullshit. And she had some to do wit Aubree getting killed, left my baby without a mother but I guess i'm supposed to let that slide too huh?" I chuckled.
"Son, I understand where you coming from but this not the time or place. Now what would've happened if she would've pressed chargers and you in the police car finna go to jail while you got a whole baby to look after?" He asked and I huffed looking away.
"We gone handle all that shit when Kaelyn recover and when you get better too. I know you going through a lot too but we can't act off of emotions right now I gotta make sure y'all straight." He said.
"I hear you." I said.
"Now go back in there and tend to yo' child." He said.
"Ouch." I said cause he thumped my forehead.
