TWO MONTHS LATER

Silently walking in the streets of New Orleans, Zeara had her daughter in a stoller. It was around sunset and the streets were flooded and full with tourists

Lots of chatter and people dancing around, drinking, laughing, and wearing bright flashy outfits

Except for Zeara. The girl had on a simple pair of black jeans, tan baby doll shirt with dark green flowers, paired with a dark green cardigan

Her brown hair was down and really showed off the waves in it. It was darker too, before she a slight streaks of highlights at the bottom

But now her hair was entirely a deep dark brown. It looked very healthy and silky

A slight content smile rested upon her face as she wondered through the busy festive streets. Klaus brought here just a few hours ago

The two had left Mystic Falls a week ago to travel all around the country. After their rough patch they needed to get out of the dreaded town

So they did. Tearing away from the gloom there were in, the couple set off to spend an entire day in a new city. Today they stopped in New Orleans, but only because Klaus said someone called him here and he now has business to tend to

The business probably being he had to kill someone, but Zeara didn't bother to ask. Not wanting to know

And for the past hour she's been walking all alone with Xila. Klaus was with her the whole day, dragging her around to shops and attractions, but then he actually to go take of something

Zeara didn't mind. It was very peaceful

Oranges, pinks and blues painted the late evening sky. However her stomach was starting to lowly rumble

Moving her feet to push the stroller she heard a little gasp. It wasn't a shocked or scared gasp, it almost sounded like a yawn

And that's what it was. Xila was now up and probably hungry, which mean she had to find a food place and fast

Luckily she knew just the place

Dusting her black converse on the entry rug Zeara carefully maneuvered the stroller to not hit anyone

When she sat down she decided to pull her daughter out of the stroller. Xila had a grumpy frown on her face and was kicking her legs
